SUMMARY

The Manager of Provider Relations oversees the Intake Team and the Intake/Admissions process, assuring that all logs are maintained, that referrals are processed in accordance with established processes, and all necessary records are maintained. Oversees and works with Clinical Liaisons to develop and implement educational programs for post-acute services and establish and maintain solid referral relationships. Assists in development of marketing and business development plans, works with Clinical Liaisons to implement these plans, and monitors outcomes. Works with Insurance Verification team to assure ongoing communication and works with clinical departments as needed to assure adequate preparation for admissions. Oversees orientation of new departmental staff and provides input for annual performance evaluations as needed.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Collaborates with administrative staff and other department personnel to create and update annual and quarterly strategic plans for growth and development.
  • Assists with evaluation of strategic growth and marketing plans.
  • Responsible for hiring and orientation of Intake Staff and Clinical Liaisons
  • Coordinates facility tours as needed.
  • Ensures seamless transition of care from acute to post-acute environment.

    Education and/or Experience

    Graduate of an accredited Nursing program required. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.. Minimum three years progressive clinical and management experience required. Bachelor's of Science in Nursing preferred.

    Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
