Our product development group is involved in product design incorporating mechanical engineering, electronics and software to create our exceptional products. Today our products also involve Internet of Things type solutions in innovative ways.

We are currently seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our product development team. The individual should have a solid background in embedded Linux software development and/or middleware and/or GUI development with a desire to develop new and innovative products in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:
Take this opportunity to apply your skills throughout all phases of software development, from requirements definition and software design through implementation, testing and product support. We do our software development in a controlled environment using state-of-the-art version control tools. Primary development responsibilities could focus on maintaining the build environment for Linux, Windows CE Operating Systems, hardware bring up & troubleshooting and developing middleware/GUI software.

We are looking for candidates with:
•BS in electrical or computer engineering, computer science, or related discipline
•5+ years of relevant work experience in software development, ideally with both embedded and Linux development experience
•Prior experience in hardware bring up, trouble shooting, and device driver development
•Experience and aptitude to research Open Source Software to solve problems
•Proficiency in C/C++ Familiarity with RS232, SPI, I2C, USB, and TCP-IP communication interfaces
•Ability to work in a cross-functional team with effective communication skills
