Shift: schedule will be rotating shifts including, days, evenings and nights

What You Will Do

As an Associate with AMITA Health, you will have the opportunity to
Provides distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the pharmacist.
Responsibilities:
  • Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems.
  • Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy department.
  • Repackages bulk medications.
  • Receives and stores incoming supplies.
  • Serves as liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professional by providing information as necessary.

What You Will Need

Licenses/Certifications/Registration:
  • Preferred Credential(s):
    • Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcare Association.
    • Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
    • Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.

Education:
  • High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required
  • IL Pharm Tech Certification/License highly preferred.

Work Experience:
  • Inpatient pharmacy experience highly preferred.
