SUMMARY Under general supervision, provides direct and/or supportive services in a group setting to a client population identified as having substance abuse issues.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides and coordinates a continuum of treatment services within the group modality onsite and/or in the community.

Provides comprehensive substance abuse diagnostic assessments of client's needs. Initiates appropriate referrals to other clinicians for any issues outside the scope of substance abuse.

Develops individuated treatment plans with participation from the client and conducts individual substance abuse counseling.

Completes necessary documentation and reporting and meets productivity standards established by the Senior Clinician and/or Program manager.

Demonstrates sensitivity and responsiveness to cultural differences present in the agency's service population.

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma required

Computer Skills:

Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

CADC certification or CADC eligible
