What You Will Do
As an Associate with AMITA Health, you will have the opportunity to
Organizes and coordinates the activities and flow of work.
Responsibilities:
- Collects and audits cancer-related data from a variety of sources to support quality assurance and quality management processes.
- Develops complex reports, analyses and graphic formulations of data for presentation and distribution.
- Develops quality and utilization indicators for oncology services.
- Works with leadership, clinical staff and a variety of outside accrediting organizations to develop agendas for meetings, quality improvement reporting and accreditation.
What You Will Need
Licenses/Certifications/Registration:
- Required Credential(s):
- Certified Registrar specializing in Tumors credentialed from the National Cancer Registrars Association (NCRA) obtained within 24 Months (2 years) of hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
- Associate Degree
- Associate degree in healthcare or related field-required Bachelor's degree preferred
Work Experience:
- One year of experience in cancer registry department-required.
- CTR required. 5 yrs of experience in cancer registry and CoC/ NAPBC accreditation
