The role is responsible for development, execution, continuous innovation and improvement of the MCSO internal content strategy for CellSite/Agent Cellsite and a variety of microsites and MCSO digital and print visual designs that optimize end-user experiences with internal websites and content. Primary drivers of the experience design are the delivery of knowledge and sales enablement content and internal associate resources, as well as the maintenance and accuracy of this content. This role leads a team in the implementation of business roadmaps, projects, plans, processes, data and insight collection and dissemination, and day-to-day service delivery of ongoing audit, innovation and improvement of the various content areas. This role must communicate and collaborate within MCSO and cross-functionally to achieve the organization's internal content and branding goals and objectives.
  • Responsible for driving improvements to the overall content and web experience through day-to-day updates and short/long term site enhancements.
  • Promote knowledge sharing through the organization's operational business processes and systems strengthening links between knowledge sharing and the information systems, and improving integration among information systems in the organization, to facilitate seamless exchange of information across systems.
  • Owns intranet content and MCSO visual design strategy including the identification, planning and implementation of initiatives that provide high-quality end-user experiences and achieve business goals
  • Owns end-to-end processes related to internal content and experience creation across the organization, ensuring a consistent look and feel across sites and content
  • Requires the ability to formally present the rationale for design and development work from the group to senior leadership.
  • Leads and develops effective content governance processes and procedures for timely audit, update, management and communication of enterprise data/insights about internal content, in partnership with leaders in MCSO and cross-functionally, as well as with external/agent partners as needed
  • Responsible for publishing of critical content on CellSite/Agent Cellsite, a variety of microsites, and MCSO visual designs (both digital and print products) to meet the content needs of business owners, content contributors and end-users
  • Collaborates within MCSO and cross-functionally to achieve a consistent look and feel throughout intranet sites and visual design content properties
  • Works closely with IS to establish and execute a capability roadmap for the intranet and shares responsibility for establishing and meeting performance, stability and security requirements
  • Responsible for large-scale innovative internal content strategy, oversees the development of business plans, roadmaps, and timelines to drive strategy through to adoption.
  • Identifies, plans for, and manages both creative and technical aspects and interdependencies with a diverse set of business partners and stakeholders
  • Responsible for the optimization of the intranet search experience including the tracking and tagging of the site content to ensure relevancy of search results and the accuracy of website analytics
  • Continually provides expertise and guidance to leadership and business owners on how sites and content can be optimized to achieve business objectives
  • Serves as a MCSO intranet expert and end-user experience champion, creating awareness, gaining support, increasing understanding and use of internal sites and content with audiences across the organization
  • Conducts research and analysis on competitive, industry and internal content best-practices and uses insights to make recommendations that impact strategy and roadmaps
  • Provides leadership and guidance to direct report team

  • Bachelor degree in related discipline required; MBA or Master's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years' of intranet and content management experience required; proven ability to lead web and print content design and business requirements document development
  • Minimum 5 years' experience using web technology such as HTML, CSS, Javascript; Web Analytics (Google analytics experience a plus); and knowledge of middle layer and back-end systems integration
  • Minimum 5 years' of direct report leadership experience required with proven success leading in a fast-paced, dynamic environment requiring high-degree of communication, collaboration, organization, attention-to-detail, and flexibility
  • Subject matter expert in internal content development and design for web/digital and print
  • Proficient in Search Engine technologies and optimization strategies
  • Skilled at identifying and defining solutions that take into account both back-end feasibility and front-end user experience
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to creatively solve complex problems/challenges
  • Strong communication and project management skills with experience leading and/or collaborating cross-functionally with all levels of the organization
  • Experience making fact-based decisions and taking timely and appropriate actions required
  • Proficient in Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint and Visio
  • Wireless industry experience a plus
