The Staff Accountant role will develop your skills and leadership through analysis of moderately complex accounting topics, critical thinking, and innovative use of technology. The primary focus of this position is to support the preparation of GAAP financial statements. The position provides an opportunity for an individual to gain an overall understanding of the Company's financial statements by contributing to the timely completion and analysis of financial results and accounting transactions, participating in an efficient close process, and understanding of internal and external requirements to ensure accurate reporting. This role requires an energetic individual who proactively identifies and implements process and technology improvements, and has a passion for accounting, and learning about the wireless business and wireless technology.

• Coordinates and participates in the monthly close process for assigned area of responsibility
• Analyzes financial reports and records, making recommendations relative to the accounting of reserves, assets and expenditures
• Analyzes a moderate scope of situations or data review of a variety of factors
• Reviews and verifies the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned to various records
• Identifies, analyzes and resolves actual-to-budget variances for business partners
• Reviews, researches and recommends improvements to analysis, reporting, billing and compliance systems
• Responds to financial inquiries of field management providing requested information for use in effective field management of the business
• Represents department in cross-functional teams as required
• Responsible for meeting the monthly schedule for reporting

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
• Two to four years of broad accounting experience; public accounting experience preferred, Big Four a plus
• Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues exercising judgment within defined accounting procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
• Knowledge of fundamental accounting principles,, practices and procedures
• Strong PC literacy skills in a Windows environment with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Access and Word)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management and associates

• Normal office working environment.
• Cyclical, sometime unplanned overtime required
• Light travel
