SUMMARY

The Food Services Assistant serves residents in the dining rooms. Position is responsible for the washing and sanitizing of dishes and performs other cleaning assignments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists in accurate dining room and tray assembly. Delivers correct food items to residents. Utilizes extended menus and tray/diet cards. Provides courteous, prompt service to residents.

Properly disposes of refuse. Properly washes and sanitizes all dishes, utensils and equipment, and puts away in proper place.

Performs cleaning assignments in a timely, efficient manner. Utilizes cleaning equipment in a safe manner. Follows departmental procedures including sanitation, safety and schedules.

Completes intake assessments in an accurate manner.
