What You Will Do

Job Summary:

Provides direct nursing care to patients of the assigned clinic/practice in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.

General Schedule is : M- F 9 to 5pm, with some late days until 6:30pm.

Responsibilities:

• Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates patient's continued care needs with members of the healthcare team.

Qualifications

Licenses/Certifications/Registration:

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• Diploma
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required

Work Experience:

• Previous work experience in the assigned specialty area preferred.
• Nursing degree from an accredited institute with IL license
• Strong Technology skills
  3 years experience in an outpatient practice preferred.
  Previous experience working with Pain Management service preferred.
  Strong verbal and written communication required.
• 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday, schedule may vary.
  Travel to multiple locations required.
