What You Will Do
Job Summary:
Performs legal research, document review and preparation and file management as directed.
Responsibilities:
- Reviews legal documents, including notices, pleadings and correspondence, and manages calendar of corresponding due dates/deadlines.
- Drafts memorandums, correspondence, reports and other documents as requested.
- Provides guidance to management regarding legal issues pursuant to direction of Attorney. Coordinates and interacts with outside attorneys and legal assistants.
- Performs legal research to identify issues, determine supporting/contrasting legal authority and arrive at legal conclusions/recommendations.
Qualifications
Licenses/Certifications/Registration:
- Required Credential(s):
- Certified Paralegal obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
- Bachelor's Level Degree
- Bachelor's degree required
Work Experience:
- Three years of experience as a paralegal preferred
- Experience in Clinical Research contract review ideal OR strong general contract review skills
