Web Operations Strategist - INF001157

Be part of the exciting growth of our I/S Organization. The new Web Operations team is focused on driving towards operational web excellence and presents a great opportunity for individuals with demonstrated experience in Ecommerce, Web Development and Web Operations. Collaborate with internal and external partners to identify issues impacting customers and support centers. Plan, execute and measure the issue resolution strategies that sustain the availability and performance of our web applications and supporting platforms.

Responsibilities

• Creates documentation for front-line associates on how to address known issues and develops workaround workflows when possible for multiple audiences
• Resolves web application issues and defects by validating fixes in production environments through the use of test cases and assists defect managers in closing production issues
• Ensure resolution and minimize customer impact by troubleshooting complex technical issues, problems, and incidents
• Review business drivers, needs and strategies with business and Enterprise Architects to understand implications for technical and middleware architecture and how changes may have an impact on our online customer experience
• Review test cases ensuring Operational Readiness by partnering with Release Management and ensure success deployments
• Provides expertise to the business, operations and technology teams on topics relates to the applications in their domain and process improvements
• Collaborates with architects, developers, I/S technical resources, and testers to ensure operational stability of web systems
• Collaborates with business analysts and project managers to define operational requirements, address inter-application dependencies and interfaces, and operational constraints.
• Creates compliance reporting for legal and information security regulatory requirements as established by the organization
• Develop expertise on the technologies used to power our web applications, services and platforms at the design, functionality and data level
• Identify and communicate risks (business, application, technical) associated with component or application implementation
• Provides off-hours production support availability as needed

Experience and Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required preferably in Information Technology, Web Development or Computer Science. Will also consider equivalent combination of education and experience or specialized training
• Minimum 5 years relevant work experience required
• Knowledge of internet technology, web development frameworks and web usability best practices
• Microsoft Office suites
• Knowledge of web development frameworks and enablers: Angular, JSON Java/JSP, J2EE, XML, web services, SOAP, WSDL
• Integration Technologies: Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), ESB, NODE, Jenkins Deployment Tools, RESTful API's and Services - preferred
• Internet Technologies and Markup languages: HHTP, HTML and CSS
• Modeling / Reporting Tools : Metadata Tools, Cognos, UML, Rochade preferred
• Databases: Oracle, SQLServer, or equivalent preferred
• Standards & Methodology: CMMI, RUP, Extreme, Agile, Scrum preferred
• Business Applications: Billing & Rating, Activation & Provisioning, Inventory Management, Sales & Marketing, Campaign Management, Deal Compensation/Sales Commission, CRM/Customer Service, Amdocs Systems (preferred) preferred
• Experience with web security and access delegation technologies: OAuth, SMOL, SSL preferred
