Job Description

 

Technology Strategy professionals create strategies and plans that define how technology should be utilized to enable an organization's overall business strategy. Applies knowledge of best practices to define how technology will shape the overall strategy, governance, organization structure and staffing, architecture and processes to maximize the impact of technology for our clients.  Maintains knowledge of evolving trends in technology strategy and management and applies those to develop innovative approaches to deliver value for our clients. Technology Strategy professionals identify the most important client technology issues, and maximize business value by conducting rigorous analyses and developing strategic multiyear road maps.

 

Managers are responsible for:

  • Managing teams in the delivery of client engagements
  • Developing trust-based client relationships with new and existing clients that lead to revenue generation 
  • Contributing to the development of various service offerings
  • Contributing to practice thought leadership, body of knowledge and service development
  • Coaching and developing practice staff

- Basic Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

 

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 1 year of strategy consulting experience at a consulting firm
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in at least 2 of the example offerings (Digital Strategy, IT Value Strategy, Technology Innovation and Ecosystems, IT Operating Model, Cloud Strategy, Enterprise Architecture Strategy, AI Strategy)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience improving the business value of technology
  • Minimum 5 years of experience writing business cases (quantitative and qualitative) to support strategic business initiatives, process improvement initiatives, or IT transformation
  • Minimum 2 years of experience leading or managing small teams effectively including planning/structuring analytical work, facilitating team workshops, and developing technology strategy recommendations

 

 

Professional Skill Requirements

 

  • Experience in one or more of the following:
    • Agile strategy, Agile transformation, Agile operating model
      • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
      • Lean Software Development Lifecycle
      • Certified Scrum Master / Certified SAFe Agilest
      • Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)design and implementation experience
      • DevOps design experience
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
  • Passion for excellence and delivering client value
  • Experience leading or managing small teams effectively and planning/structuring analytical work
  • Broad, diverse experience and knowledge of major technologies (legacy to emerging).
