A new area within Accenture Digital is Industry X.0, an advanced, digitally enabled, innovative, planning and investment approach for manufacturing and asset-intensive industries. In your role within our Industry X.0 team, you’ll help clients take advantage of significant market opportunities as digital technology moves into the core of industry in product development and manufacturing environments. You’ll help them transform their product, manufacturing and product related services value chains in Products, Communications, Media, High Tech, Aerospace & Defense, Chemicals, Mining, Oil & Gas and Utilities. YOUR ROLE: Digital & Innovation Strategy Consultant
We are looking for an ambitious Digital & Innovation Strategy Consultant ready to take on new challenges as industries head towards digitalization, automation, and optimization leveraging digital and innovation.
- Deliver and oversee the quality of deliverables and effectively manage the team and day-to-day relationships to ensure exceptional performance.
- Identify, assess and solve complex business problems for area of responsibility, using in-depth analysis of situations or data and incorporating innovative approaches and techniques.
- Develop recommendations in the context of the engagement and effectively communicate them to senior management and client counterparts.
- Closely follow the strategic direction set by senior management and interact with senior management on matters where they may need to gain acceptance .
- Has some latitude in decision-making. Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
- Develop proposals for business development opportunities and present to senior leadership at potential clients.
- Travel Required.
- Basic qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required with strong academic record
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant professional service experience preferably in management consulting or strategy consulting
- Experience in digital strategy development and use of innovative approaches and techniques such design thinking and ideation workshops
- Understands and conversant in IoT, mobility, analytics and digital technologies
- Experience building key client relationships and business opportunities in a consulting environment from incubation to full scale solutions across strategy, process, and technology
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
SET YOURSELF APART: Preferred Skills
- Experience in digital modeling with Digital Twin, Digital Thread
- Capable of building relationships with VP and above with significant exposure to C-suite executives
- Experience in digital strategy development and use of innovative approaches and techniques such design thinking and ideation workshops
- Possesses business and technical acumen on the latest digital topics, such as IoT, mobility, analytics and artificial intelligence
- Experience leading projects made up of joint client and provider teams with strong project planning and management capabilities
- Experienced and knowledgeable in manufacturing execution systems, lean manufacturing, digital plants, computer-integrated manufacturing, manufacturing operations management
- Advanced degrees in engineering, business, MIS
