Job Description

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:
Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.
Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.
Uses considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems.
Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor. May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture.
Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance.
Decisions often impact the team in which they reside.
Manages small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.

Responsibilities of the Public Service Workday Change Management Specialist may include:

  • Design and implement business changes that drive industry-specific, function and digital operating model transformation, focusing on task relating to people and process
  • Identifying, assessing and solving complex business problems for your area of responsibility, where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
  • Following the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near term goals
  • Interacting with senior management at a client and/or within Accenture on matters where they may need to gain acceptance of an alternate approach
  • Acting independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments
  • Making and handling decisions that have a major day-to-day impact on areas of responsibility
  • Managing large- or medium-sized teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture
  • Working directly with clients to implement, support and integrate SaaS-based solutions into their business environments through leading business process design and implementation
  • Providing delivery support for SaaS-based solutions to our clients
  • Ability to travel up to 100%

 

Basic Qualifications:
  • 1 year of experience in Health or Public Service
  • 1 year of demonstrated implementation/change management/training experience
  • 1 year of consulting experience
  • 1 year of Workday PM, HCM, Finance, or Student experience  
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Previous experience with a large professional service organization

Professional Skills Required:

  • Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
