Job Description

Job Summary:

Performs teaching assignments in assigned courses.

Responsibilities:

• Develops and delivers all content and related materials in assigned courses.
• Utilizes a variety of teaching methods, technologies and student learning activities to address various learning styles and achieve course objectives.
• Arranges and finalizes sites for student practice, provides student advisement and participates in committees.
• Constructs and selects appropriate evaluation modalities which measure the learner's achievement of course objectives.

Qualifications

Licenses/Certifications/Registration:

• Required Credential(s):
  • Illinois Secondary Teacher's Certification, LBS I required.

Education:

• Master's Level Degree, Master's degree in education required

Work Experience:

• Two years of experience in special education teaching required.
• BA Special Education with LBS 1 certification
• Experience working with middle school students with social emotional disorders. Prefer experience in 8th grade curriculum including Alg. 1
• This is a Salaried position working a school calendar. Some options to work summer school
