Additional Job Details: PRN / Evenings, 18 hours Weekly

Schedule: Evenings (starting at 4pm or 5pm - 9 pm) and every Saturday 9-1

What You Will Do

Job Summary:

Provides behavioral health counseling services.

Responsibilities:
  • Conducts patient assessments and establishes therapy treatment goals.
  • Administers individual and group therapy. Maintains thorough and confidential records of observations.
  • Evaluates progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions.
  • Provides patient with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community.

Qualifications


Licenses/Certifications/Registration:
  • Required Credential(s):
    • One or more of the following:
      • Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
      • Psychologist credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
      • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or transfer date.
      • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:
  • Master's Level Degree
    • Master's degree in a behavioral science or related field required

Work Experience:
  • Three years of experience in the behavioral health field required.One year of postgraduate experience with chronically mentally ill preferred.
