Human Resources Assistant - Part Time (24-28 Hrs)
Amalgamated Bank of Chicago is seeking an individual to provide administrative and clerical support on a part-time basis (24-28 hours per week) in the Human Resources Department. Primary duties for this position include, but are not limited to, the following items:
- handling supplemental compliance tasks (maintains applicant logs, completes distribution projects [annual notices, reports, benefits documents, etc.], tracking and following up on responses
- preparing forms and documents for processing
- scheduling employees for and ensuring completion of required employee compliance training
- assembling information packets, organizing new hire orientation session materials and distribution reports and account statements
- performing clerical support
- maintaining employee files, supplies, HR Forms area and records
- assisting with skills testing
The successful candidate will have a high school diploma with one year of clerical/administrative experience as well as business software navigation, communication (verbal/written), computer (Microsoft Word/Excel), customer service and detail attentiveness skills.
