Safety Internship

Our paid internship will provide an opportunity to learn what it takes to be a part of a Safety department in a manufacturing facility. Your experience will be project based. As an intern you can expect to gain valuable experience and insight into the working of a Safety department and the role it plays in the manufacturing environment. At conclusion of Internship you are expected to prepare a final presentation on the results of your assigned project(s) in front of the Corporate management team.

Required Skills:

- Students who are in their Junior year of study towards a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety or related field of study.
- Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Powerpoint
- Ability to take direction, learn quickly and interact professionally with members of management team.

-Must be comfortable working around food/meat products. Must be able to work in cold/wet/loud work environment.
