Stockperson, Food Warehouse

As Stockperson-Food Warehouse, you will assist in the efficient operation of the guest service food warehouse ensuring that the product is handled safely in order to maintain the quality of the product, thereby assuring a quality guest experience.

This is a seasonal position with a pay rate of $11.50 per hour .
-Must be at least 18 years of age .
-Valid Drivers License required.

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Under direction, collate requests, pull and deliver requested stock, such as perishable food stuffs, clerical supplies, and support items requested by restaurants, food and merchandise location's, gift shops, and/or other departments.
  • Load orders on to appropriate vehicles and deliver to correct park locations.
  • Drive and operate various warehouse vehicles and equipment in a safe and efficient manner, including, but not limited to carts, forklifts, and pick-up, stake -body, and tailgate trucks.
  • Maintain and clean all warehouse stock areas including sweeping and/or cleaning of floors, shelves, and equipment to assure work areas and equipment are safe and reliable.
  • Assist in the checking of shipments for proper quantities and documentation.
  • Rotate food stock following the FIFO method (First In, First Out)
  • Report to supervisors all damages and discrepancies in inventory.
  • Collect and return all shipping items, packaging materials, or vendor deposit equipment issued to the various locations.
  • Assist in special events, providing, under supervision, requested support, supplies and equipment.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements and Specifications
The requirements for this position include:


  • High School graduate or equivalent combination of training/experience preferred.

  • Minimum 6 months previous warehouse experience preferred.

  • Previous experience operating a forklift preferred.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age .

  • Must be reliable, neat, highly organized and accurate.

  • Basic math skills, basic reading and writing skills required.

  • Experience and/or ability to work and interact effectively with a diverse, multicultural audience. Multi-lingual ability and Spanish fluency a plus.

  • Valid driver's license required . Illinois residents must possess a valid Illinois license within 90 days of hire. Valid out-of-state license required for out-of-state residents.

  • One or more of the following licensures may be required: Valid "C" or "B" (CDL) Driver's License.

  • Valid medical authorization card required for positions with commercial motor vehicle driving responsibilities.

  • Incumbent must have ability to work independently during non-standard hours including evenings, holidays, and weekends.

This seasonal position requires a high level of flexibility and organization. Incumbent must have the ability to learn Society policies and departmental procedures and standards.
