Overview

The Microsoft Azure Consumption Specialist is responsible to Identify, monitor and support Microsoft cloud usage and consumption transactions ensuring the capturing of all related costs and passed on to our sales teams for customer billing.

Responsibilities

 

 

• Drive customer resolution and satisfaction with the premium support by analyzing problems (resend welcome letter/ change OSM)
• Monitoring consumption and overage of Azure
• Monitoring active usage for other online services
• Tracks reservations to avoid over-spending and under-consuming
• Outstanding reservation management
• Works with multiple teams across SAP support to transact, manage, and invoice end customers for Online Services
• Helps reduce operational costs with nearly real-time availability of online services to customers. (reservations and self-provisioning)
• Assist in evolving cloud support structure as industry changes rapidly to accommodate customers with the new consumption based licensing model

 

Qualifications

 

 

 

 

• Must possess an innovative and self-motivated work ethic with strong communication skills; written and verbal
• Candidate must be comfortable in a fast-paced, team-based environment with a high degree of individual autonomy
• College degree and/or 2-3 years related experience in a software licensing environment
• Ability to use spreadsheets and relational databases to manipulate/store data extracted from ERP systems for further analysis
• Understanding of Microsoft licensing and their cloud based offerings across all VL programs is a plus
• The ability to work on a flexible work schedule to meet deadlines
