Job Description

Pete's Fresh Market is hiring for many positions. The positions and brief descriptions are listed below.

Bakery Clerk: As a Bakery Clerk you are responsible for providing excellent customer service to all guests. You are responsible for the merchandise in the bakery department, which includes: receiving, stocking, preparing, wrapping, weighing, pricing, rotating, and merchandising the department's products.

Cashier: As a Cashier you are responsible for providing excellent customer service to all guests at the Point of Sale (POS). You ensure each customer leaves Pete's Fresh Market with an outstanding experience, while delivering fast, friendly, and accurate transactions. You must maintain proper control of cash, ensure customer satisfaction, and safeguard company assets.

Dairy Clerk: As a Dairy Clerk you are responsible for ensuring the dairy section of the store is well-stocked for our customers. You assist in receiving, storing, and stocking of products while guaranteeing proper product rotation and quality. You must be familiar with store products and their locations in order to assist customers in locating items

Dishwasher: As a Dishwasher you are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for all kitchen and cooking utensils, etc., using machine and manual cleaning methods. This position also ensures the dishwashing area is clean, safe and sanitary.

Hot Foods Clerk: As a Hot Foods Clerk you are responsible for providing excellent customer service to all guests. You are responsible for the merchandise in the hot foods department, which includes: receiving, stocking, preparing, wrapping, weighing, pricing, rotating, and merchandising the department's products. Hot Foods products vary from locations and can include fried foods, rotisserie items, pizza, paninis, tacos, and other specialty items displayed in the hot foods case.

Meat Butcher: As a Meat Butcher you are responsible for providing customers with exceptional service. You are responsible for advising and preparing orders for customers at the service counter or for the self-service displays. You are responsible for the highest level of execution in regards to receiving, unloading, storage, rotating, merchandising and building of displays within their department.

Meat Service Clerk: As a Meat Service Clerk you are responsible for providing customers with exceptional service. You are responsible for advising and preparing orders for customers at the service counter or for the self-service displays. You are responsible for the highest level of execution in regards to receiving, unloading, storage, rotating, merchandising and building of displays within their department.

Produce Clerk: As a Produce Clerk you are responsible for ensuring the produce department is well-stocked for our customers. You must assist in receiving, storing, and stocking of products while guaranteeing proper product rotation and quality. You must be familiar with store products and their locations in order to assist customers in locating items.

Qualifications

• Must be capable of providing and modeling exceptional customer service.
• Must have excellent communication skills in order to communicate effectively with customers, store leadership, and fellow-team members.
• Must have the physical ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, bend and stoop to grasp objects, frequently push and pull up to 100 lbs., frequently lift 20 lbs., and occasionally lift 50 lbs.

Schedule

You must have the availability to work weekends and holidays.
