SUMMARY

The Senior Midas Application Analyst supports the maintenance of Midas+ system application and reporting tools within Presence Health. Assists with the maintenance, evaluation and implementation of the application in addition to providing more complex troubleshooting assistance and end user support. Provides expert application knowledge, project implementation and report development to support of the directives assigned to the department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supports the Midas Application Lead with system operation, quality assurance and system back up. Investigates system failure and initiates corrective solutions. Handles quarterly or annual maintenance of roles/work lists/indicators.


  • Directs and project manages medium to large project implementations and system enhancements.


  • Assists in defining levels of system security, monitors access, coordinates setups and maintains the integrity of system operations. Ensures change control procedures are followed and monitors compliance. Documents all changes to the system and obtains written approval from the System Manager and/or regulatory agencies.


  • Assists in maintaining system table/dictionaries and ensures they meet the requirements of leadership and information systems.


  • Assists the Midas Application Lead with testing, implementing, monitoring new software releases, products, patches, and system changes during pre/post implementations.


QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience

  • Associate's degree in Computer Science, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, or Business Administration required plus a minimum seven years of experience within a hospital or health system decision support or information systems environment; or Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of two years of experience.


  • Midas+ System enhancement modification and project management/implementation experience or related experience required.


Computer Skills

  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook to provide report outs.


  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Midas+ and Midas DataVision and Crystal Reports preferred.
