The Account Executive II is responsible for sourcing businesses to become a part of Safer Foundation’s Demand Skills Collaborative, and to identify qualified candidates and place them with these businesses. Employers are consisting being recruited for Safer, generating job orders or other opportunities (consistent with the skill level of Safer Foundation clients) created by engaging those employers at the corporate level. Candidates will be consistently recruited, fulfilling the needs of partner employers. This position develops new and maintains existing relationships with key leaders ensuring working relationships with new and existing employers and other partners, such as training providers, industry experts, or partnering agencies, and secures, develops or expands contracts with corporate entities. This position generates opportunities by identifying, cultivating and committing potential employers to increase job opportunities inclusive for transitional, temporary and permanent job opportunities for Safer Foundation clients.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops outreach plans to grow corporate relationships as well as plans to identify and place qualified individuals in collaborate partners’ vacancies or approved training programs
  • Works with approved training partners to develop candidates with the aptitude and interests to create a pipeline of qualified
  • Conducts research and reviews national and local trends in private industry workforce development arenas, and provides reports to senior management to aid in better targeting private industry needs

 

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • In-depth knowledge of and familiarity with terminology, occupation, certification, trends and major players of assigned industry
  • Proven and successful skills in candidate sourcing, preferably in human resources or staffing along with proven and successful selling and marketing skills
  • A valid driver’s license is required and access to a (reliable) vehicle is required for job-related travel

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or successful equivalent/relevant experience accepted
  • 7 years’ successful B2B marketing and selling experience including sector/industry knowledge required as well as human resources or staffing/recruiting capabilities
  • Demonstrated research skills including knowledge of budget preparation and analysis
