Data Coordinator Specialist
Title: Data Coordinator Specialist

Location: Cook County Jail, 2600 S. California, Chicago,
The Data Coordinator Specialist is responsible for the data input, maintenance, and updating of student learner records with daily reporting within PACE. All records must be maintained in three database systems used to track student activity. The program’s Data Coordinator Specialist inputs student data accurately within 48-hours of intake completion and coordinates and responds with statistical data in real-time in accordance to the needs set forth for outcomes.

Qualifications:
- 1-2 years successful data entry experience, preferably with web-based systems and some knowledge of generating reports and providing statistical outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to be well-organized with first-rate communication skills, especially with feedback; sense of thoroughness and keen ability to follow explicit instruction; good judgment and reliability.
- Ability to perform and complete task with minimal supervision; flexibility with and strong ability to take initiative.
- Ability to develop and provide information and spreadsheets that will reflect queries of program performance.
- All data information is delivered to program management and designated parties timely with minimal errors additional experience in recordkeeping is a plus.
- Must have excellent communications, computational and interpersonal skills.
- Must be computer literate.
- Ability to maintain composure under stress and to employ insight and creativity in interpersonal communication.
- Prior experience working with individuals with criminal records a plus.
- Ability to work within the confines of the Cook County Department of Corrections (CCDOC) and a secured correctional facility.
- Ability to work in stressful situations, in a fast-paced environment that experiences frequent short-term changes.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree
