Electronics Technician -Nights $1,000 Sign-On Bonus! The Daily Herald has a great full-time opportunity for an experienced Electronics Technician. Using your electronics background, you will: Repair and maintain all electronic equipment and systems in our Schaumburg printing and packaging site. You will be working a night-shift in an industrial production environment. Troubleshoot, repair and maintain a variety of printing and packaging equipment as well as building lighting, electrical panels and heaters. Experience Required: Electronics background and experience repairing and maintaining a variety of electrical/electronic systems and equipment is required. Production environment experience is preferred. Knowledge of 480V 3, general knowledge of PLC and PC controls, and basic knowledge of networks is a plus. Strong focus on quality and productivity while maintaining a safe work environment. History of reliable attendance and ability to work independently. Ability to prioritize work and remain focused under pressure. Ability to work overnight hours. We are employee-owned and offer a great full-time benefits package.
