CDW LLC seeks a Senior Quality Analyst at its Vernon Hills, Illinois office to perform testing of multiple, large, complex, or strategic software development applications using QA testing practices and frameworks; create automated test scripts to automate test scenarios discovered in design; perform automated regression testing, including design and maintenance of automated regression testing frameworks, and execution and maintenance of automated regression test suites; design and prioritize test cases; perform functional testing, including design and implementation of QA standards; perform analysis of business requirements for accuracy, completeness, redundancy, ambiguity and testability; report and communicate test status and metrics to project stakeholders; document and report defects within the established process and tracking system; define testing scope, approach, risks and assumptions; create and maintain the testing project schedule to track progress and ensure completion within deadlines; identify and recommend changes to status reporting and quality metrics; participate in the technical review of project deliverables including requirement specifications, functional designs, technical designs and other project documentation to ensure the testability of the requirements; work with the development and user community to define and develop testing requirements to validate that software solutions were built to specifications; coach and mentor QA Analysts and other stakeholders in software quality assurance processes, practices and business application functionality; assist in the identification of continuous process improvement of QA standards and practices; and work with e-Commerce platforms using Agile Dual Track Scrum methodology.

Occasional evening and weekend work as needed for installations, implementations, and upgrades.

Minimum requirements include a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, information technology, or related technology field plus 5 years post baccalaureate, progressive full software development life cycle experience including quality assurance process experience (requirements analysis, test case design, prioritization and risk analysis, test execution, metric reporting).
