What You Will Do
As an Associate with AMITA Health, you will have the opportunity to
Supervises the daily activities of the clinical intake staff.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates daily intake staffing assignments and staffing levels.
- Manages bed assignments and supervises the timeliness of patient transfers/admission process.
- Provides leadership, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to intake staff. Provides input into performance evaluations and handles disciplinary actions.
- Provides admissions and intake services to patients and potential patients.
- Assists with compilation, generation and analysis of data for results reporting and performance improvement initiatives.
- Monitors departmental compliance with regulatory and compliance requirements.
What You Will Need
Licenses/Certifications/Registration:
- Preferred Credential(s):
- Clinical Counselor credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
- Counselor credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
- Social Worker credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
Education:
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required
- Master's Degree in Social Service or related field highly needed
Work Experience:
- 1 year of experience required.
- Masters prepared, clinical licensure preferred (LCPC, LCSW)
