What You Will Do
As an Associate with AMITA Health, you will have the opportunity to
Plans and manages the development and delivery of clinical education.
Responsibilities:
- Consults with managers and assists department to plan, coordinate and evaluate specific orientation and competency assessment programs.
- Assists with determining clinical educational needs by participating in appropriate leadership/committee meetings and by direct communication with management.
- Coordinates all administrative components of training activities and events. Schedules course sessions and learning activities, maintains training event calendars and databases, and manages enrollment and reporting.
- Obtains feedback from leadership and refines training accordingly.
What You Will Need
Education:
- Diploma
- High school diploma or GED required
- Registered Nurse strongly preferred
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field preferred
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of recent nursing education experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred.
- Previous course design and curriculum highly preferred. Experience with Articulate or similar software experience preferred.
- Authoring experience preferred; EMR experience preferred; Cerner experience highly desired.
- Principles of adult learning knowledge preferred.
