What You Will Do

Manages and maintains Pharmacy information systems for the facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates the development of pharmacy information systems.
- Identifies system needs, performs system maintenance, trouble shoots system failures and provides education and training to staff.
- Creates and generates reports and spreadsheets that capture and analyze data from various pharmacy applications.
- Develops processes and technology designed to enhance patient safety.
- Coordinates training of staff on proper use, application and security of all computer systems used by the pharmacy department and acts as a system expert and trainer for all computer systems used by the department.
What You Will Need
QUALIFICATIONS

Education and/or Experience
Required
- BSPharm, MSPharm or PharmD
- Minimum 2 years of experience as informaticist required
- Minimum 5 years of experience as hospital pharmacist
- Must be knowledgeable on pharmacy hardware, software, database, and clinical applications
Computer Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software
- Cerner, Meditech and/or Epic experience required.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- IL Registered Pharmacist license or eligible to be licensed in the state of Illinois. Must obtain IL Pharmacist license within an agreed upon timeframe.
