The Communications Program Manager is responsible for all Notre Dame Initiative for Global Development (NDIGD ) outreach and engagement and branding efforts. This includes researching, drafting, and editing of written materials and strategic communications, including publications, articles, speeches, and promotional material; designing print and electronic materials; updating website content, overseeing social media networks, and marketing and planning NDIGD events. The position develops and leads the communications strategy in coordination with the Keough School marketing and communications team, and manages internal communications processes within NDIGD . The position requires exceptional organizational and communication skills, excellent English writing and editing, and the ability to design print and electronic marketing materials. Strategic leadership and an outgoing personality is required to provide proactive communications and content to coordinate NDIGD's outreach efforts closely with faculty and the Keough School of Global Affairs.
 
Minimum Qualifications
 
Bachelor’s degree required with 1-2 years of experience (preferred in communications). Strong experience in writing, designing print and electronic materials, social media, and event marketing. High degree of independence and initiative required. Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to interact professionally and build capacity among colleagues from culturally diverse backgrounds and in different settings. Exceptional English writing and editing skills required. Strong experience with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat preferred. Experience with Excel and advanced word processing required. Ability to travel internationally if needed
