Review overall scope, project objectives, policies staffing requirements, etc., of assigned project. This includes safety management, schedule management (critical path, progress updates, schedule impact notification method, mechanism for recovery, and parameters for extension process). Intimate knowledge of the plans and specifications of the project. Responsible for the daily processes, including scheduling all labor through the scheduler, contacting the shop and organizing deliveries in an on time expeditious manner as well as each phases punch list.  Provide updates to the owner on project status and also keep all trades updated and informed.

Initiate and maintain liaison with client, A & E representatives, construction managers, etc., to expedite and facilitate construction activities.  Additionally, coordinate with subcontractors on work performance, expectations and schedule.

Evaluation of hours on self-performed work so as to make sure we are sustaining a profit on the job or project. 

 

Represent the company in project and job-site meetings.

 

Provide and/or assist with the compiling of qualified estimates, attend pre-bid meetings, assemble bid documents, review bid manuals, etc.

 

Assume additional tasks as directed by upper management.

 

Reports directly to the President.
