Purchasing Specialist - Our Purchasing Specialist is responsible for executing our purchasing and inventory management strategy. This involves buying assigned ingredients and packaging materials to optimize value and quality, while ensuring customer success. In addition, this role will develop a working knowledge of key vendors, ingredients, and materials, build strong vendor relationships, conduct price comparisons and evaluate cost containment options. This candidate will also support our Product Development efforts. Qualified candidates must have a bachelor's degree and ten years of related purchasing experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates should also have strong leadership and project management skills and be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
