What You Will Do

As an Associate with AMITA Health, you will have the opportunity to
Provides clerical and technical support for imaging department.
Responsibilities:

• Performs post procedural duties including patient discharge, room clean up and restocking supplies. Assists with inventory control.
• Transports patients to and from clinical areas and verifies patient identity according to policies and procedures. Assists with preparing patient for radiology exam and with procedure performance.
• Files, delivers, and retrieves patient reports, matching films to folders, and delivery of reports to patient units/physicians.
• Provides clerical support as necessary.

What You Will Need

Licenses/Certifications/Registration:

• Preferred Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Education:

• HS or Equivalent
  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred

Work Experience:

• Previous hospital and/or transportation experience preferred.
• Prior experience in the medical field helpful.
• Computer skills, high school diploma minimum and CPR required.
• Current hours are Friday's from 7 am - 5:30 pm and Saturdays 7 am - 12 noon.
• Additional days may be required as needed.
