What You Will Do

As an AMITA Health associate, you will have the opportunity to manage the daily operations of a large rehabilitation services department including OT, PT, ST and Massage Services.

You will:

• Develops specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
• Assesses quality of patient care and coordinates services with patients and healthcare providers.
• Manages staff relations and oversees scheduling, recruitment, and payroll.
• Oversees departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, contracts, and vendor relations.

What You Will Need

Licenses/Certifications/Registration:

• Required Credential(s):
• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• One of the following:
  • Occupational Therapist licensed by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Physical Therapist licensed by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Speech-Language Pathologist licensed by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• Bachelor's Level Degree
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in physical therapy, occupational therapy, and/or speech language pathology required.

Work Experience:

• A minimum of two years experience as a clinician preferred. Previous management experience preferred.
• Licensed PT, OT, SLP with 3-5 years of progressive, demonstrable leadership experience with interest in managing a large, fast-paced OP Rehabilitation clinic.

Individual will:

• report to Director, OP Rehabilitation Services.
• be be able to maintain a split clinical (~60%) and management (~40%) role
• be flexible and able to manage frequent interruption in daily routine.
• communicate in a concise and clear manner with various audiences.
• Have primary responsibility for keeping operations up to regulatory standards, promoting staff development, holding routine staff meetings, staffing to volumes, managing monthly budget, ensuring ongoing referral development, facilitating site specific program growth, managing patient feedback and other duties as assigned.

Work Schedule:

• 40 hours
• 5 - 8 hour days with flexibility to attend occassional meetings/events outside of typical work hours.
• Exact schedule to be determined.
