What You Will Do

As an Associate with AMITA Health, you will have the opportunity to manage the daily operations of the outpatient rehabilitation services at our New AMITA Health Ambulatory site in Woodridge.

You will:
  • Develops specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
  • Assesses quality of patient care and coordinates services with patients and healthcare providers.
  • Manages staff relations and oversees scheduling, recruitment, and payroll.
  • Oversees departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, contracts, and vendor relations.

What You Will Need

Licenses/Certifications/Registration:
  • Required Credential(s):
    • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Physical Therapist licensed by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:
  • Bachelor's in Physical Therapy, DPT preferred.

Work Experience:
  • 1-3 years of progressive, demonstrable leadership experience. Previous management experience preferred.
  • Clinically MDT McKenzie training, Parts A & B, a plus.\
  • Ability to evaluate and treat both musculoskeletal and neurologically involved patient populations.
  • Interest in program and referral development. Must be able to make and maintain solid working relationships with referring providers.
  • Must be able to balance daily clinic operations with clinical responsibilities.
  • Must have solid understanding of rehabilitation regulatory and payer guidelines.
