What You Will Do
As an Associate with AMITA Health, you will have the opportunity to
Performs adminstrative aspects of system management pertaining to the Picture Archival and Communication Systems (PACS).
You will:
- Manages database and server groups
- Performs daily management of PACS anomalies and changes process to prevent recurrence
- Performs daily management of transcription issues and follows up on all reports not finalized
- Manages imaging IS projects from inception to completion.
What You Will Need
Licenses/Certifications/Registration:
- Preferred Credential(s):
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Mammography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Education:
- HS or Equivalent
- High school diploma required Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems highly preferred
Work Experience:
- Four years of experience in a hospital cardiology or radiology setting preferred. Project management and PACS experience preferred
- Three or more years of prior PACS Administrator experience and Bachelors degree preferred
- 9-5:30 Monday-Friday with rotating on-call
