The Buyer in this position is responsible for managing purchases on behalf of the Company. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to performing activities such as SAP purchase orders management, contract conditions verification as well as problem solving and reporting and analysis to ensure that the Company's procurement policies are met. The Buyer works closely with suppliers and strategic sourcing verticals, internal stakeholders of the procure-to-pay process that purchases and payments are compliant with contract requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manages the purchase requisitions/purchase orders process and ensures that the appropriate product is bought from the preferred suppliers at the correct price.
• Support Device & Accessory promotional process by executing and administering promotional agreements ("Term Sheets")
• Reviews and analyzes purchase requisitions, investigates and develop sources of supplies, reviews quotations from suppliers, check against existing agreements and ensures purchases are made from the preferred and approved suppliers. Engages with suppliers to ensure best price, delivery dates and contract conditions are met.
• Performs advanced analytics on spend and procurement activities in order to support sourcing negotiations efforts.
• Develops compliance metrics and reports to ensure the preferred and approved suppliers' list is consistently used for procurement of goods and services in order to prevent rogue spending.
• On-board new suppliers and ensures strong relationships are built order to influence them effectively though negotiations as applicable.
• Serves a liaison between accounts payable and requisitioners/ suppliers and actively resolves issues related to invoicing reconciliation, receiving and delivery issues by promoting collaboration and communication among all parties involved.
• Leads or participates in cross functional teams to effectively resolve procure to pay issues.
• Performs transactional purchasing activities as required.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Business administration, Finance or related field required.
• One to three years of Supply Chain or any procurement or related field experience required.
• Familiar with Supply Chain processes and procedures and ERP/Contract systems (SAP/ Ariba experience preferred).
• Proficient in MS Office tools such as Excel, PPT, Access and associated analytical tools.
• Able to negotiate internally and externally with minimum noise and able to win concessions without damaging relationships.
• Ability to partner with key stakeholders, including providing status updates to multiple teams and levels throughout the Company
• Ability to manage multiple small projects in a cross functional environment with a fun energetic personality, great team player that work well in fast paced, collaborative situations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills while demonstrating superior customer focus, flexibility and versatility.
