The Village of Burr Ridge Public Works Department is accepting applications for Part-time General Utility Worker.

Responsibilities include maintaining public buildings, utility systems, & roadways, plowing and shoveling snow, landscaping, operating power tools and construction equipment, and general assistance in the Department. An Illinois CDL license Class A or B with N or X endorsement and non-restrictive air brakes is preferred, or a Class D license with safe driving record & high school diploma or equivalent. Position wage starts at $17.82 per hour and does not include benefits, but employees are given preference when filling a full-time vacancy. Candidates must pass a physical exam, drug screening and background check, and provide a driving abstract.
