Job Description
Job Summary:
Provides student and family therapy as well as writing psychosocial assessments.
Responsibilities:
- Develops, provides and evaluates educational programs that will provide educational assistance and resources to patients.
- Serves as single point of contact for external teachers and administrators.
- Supports the student's transition back to school.
Qualifications
Education:
- Master's Level Degree, MSW, MA, PhD, PsyD or a comparable degree in counseling, special education or psychology required
Work Experience:
- Previous experience in school settings required; preferably in special education.
- Type 73 preferred.
- Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Previous experience with family therapy, writing psychosocial assessments, adolescent and child psychotherapy and psychopathology preferred.
