What You Will Do

Job Summary:

Manages the daily operations of radiation therapy services.

Responsibilities:
  • Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
  • Assesses quality of patient care and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.
  • Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, conflict management and other job related issues. Oversees scheduling, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
  • Oversees departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, contracts, and vendor relations.

Qualifications


Licenses/Certifications/Registration:
  • Required Credential(s):
    • Licensed Medical Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiation Therapy credentialed from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:
  • Bachelor's Level Degree
    • Bachelor's of Science degree in related field required, preferably in Radiation OncologyMaster's degree preferred

Work Experience:
  • Five or more years of experience required.
