Manager, Rewards

Reporting to the Director of Rewards, this role is responsible for managing employee compensation programs and policies for North America and Latin America. Will manage a team and focus on the development, communication, implementation, and administration of new and revised competitive compensation programs, policies and procedures.  This position is also responsible for partnering with the Director Rewards in administering the executive compensation program. 

 

Seeking a seasoned professional to take the reins in this role for broad based NALA compensation and the day to day operations of the department while the Director shifts focus to more strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise to the business groups, dependent on needs, in job leveling and evaluation, peer assessment, marketing benchmarking and competitive analysis.
  • Improve efficiency and customer satisfaction through the successful implementation of Rewards process and system improvements.
  • Ensure compliance through audits, reports and analysis.
  • Manages the salary administration processing, monitoring, and reporting functions; monitors the effectiveness of programs and recommends modifications.
  • Partner and consult with senior leadership, managers and human resources in relation to compensation programs, practices, policies, recommendations, state and federal regulations.
  • Focus on building strong HR partnership with the business, finance and the regional HR team.
  • Communicate with the HRBPs regularly to better understand their needs and ensure all rewards policies and processes are clearly understood.
  • Manage Reward team members as people manager.
  • Demonstrate inclusion of our values and encourage demonstrating values throughout the team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or a minimum of 8 years of broad-based compensation experience.
  • Proven experience managing and developing a team.
  • Experience in executive compensation highly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of salary structure development and design
  • Previous experience with market data and salary surveys
  • Must have a team mentality. Must be able to integrate into and be a strong contributor to a global team.
  • Ability to work cohesively with and lead cross functional teams within a global company.
  • Strong business acumen.
