Job Title: Temporary Highway Maintenance Worker
Employee Status: Temporary, Non-exempt
Rate: $22.00/hr.

SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, perform snow plowing operations on an as needed basis, typically during night hours. Position is anticipated to last until late March.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Must be able to carry out oral and written instructions, drive trucks with snowplows, and work well with other employees and the public.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell as well as lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or equivalent certificate. Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
