The City of Piano is accepting applications for a part time (20 hours per week) property maintenance / residential building inspector. Applicants must demonstrate a minimum of three years experience in the building trades or building inspection. Applicants shall have, or achieve within one month of hire, International Code Council property maintenance inspector and residential building inspector certifications. Applicants must have a valid Illinois driver's license and reliable transportation that will be used for conducting inspections (mileage reimbursed). Applicants must have physical ability to traverse construction sites and lift fifty pounds. Bilingual (Spanish) highly desirable. Retired law enforcement / military/others highly desirable.

Salary range: $18.26 to $32.47 per hour, depending on qualifications.
