Overview of Position
Responsible for all aspects of maintain maximum levels of cleanliness, sanitation, and orderliness of the back of house operations on a daily basis.
Schedule
- Home games for the Blackhawks and Bulls
- Late shifts needed (as late as 2:00 AM)
- 25-40 hours per week
Specific Duties
- Responsible for the safe operation of all equipment
- Report any and all equipment failures or safety hazards
- Handling all equipment in a professional manner, minimizing excessive wear and damage, as well as the overall cleanness of all food preparations areas.
- Observe safe food handling techniques and sanitary cleaning standards.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals
- Ability to problem solve
- Dependability - follow instructions; respond to management direction; communicate frequently; solicit feedback to improve performance
- Must be able to maneuver around the kitchen including bending, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds
Preferred Experience
- 3 months of related experience
- Familiar with special cleaning and culinary terminology11.00
- Ability to operate specific dishwashing equipment or tools
Compensation - $11.04 per hour
Location - 1901 W Madison, Chicago, IL (The United Center)
