Leasing Consultant

We're hiring multiple Leasing Consultants to show our gorgeous properties here in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago! Leasing Consultants have the exciting job of helping our clients find their perfect apartment in a rapidly changing neighborhood with new restaurants, retail shops, and more! You are required to have a valid driver's license and vehicle for this role.
As a member of our Leasing team you will:
- Network with prospective residents by email, telephone, and in-person to understand their residential needs and requirements and source new sales opportunities.
- Introduce Mac's fabulous residential portfolio to prospective residents by professionally presenting our apartments with particular attention to building features, design, and amenities.
- Successfully optimize building occupancy by closing new residential leases, renewals and achieving established sales quotas.
- Maintain a thorough product knowledge of the Mac portfolio
- Accurately prepare all lease-related documentation and interdepartmental correspondence (i.e. key form requests, parking, and gym membership) in accordance with Fair Housing and established Mac policies.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Drivers License and vehicle is required for this role, as you will be showing units that may range from 47th to 58th and Lake Shore Drive to Washington Park
- Strong selling and relationship building skills.
- Prospecting skills, including the ability to qualify and close new accounts.
- Demonstrated communication skills, written, verbal and listening.
- Strong computer skills, and ability to use company-issued tablet.
- Proven presentation skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Customer-orientation and client development abilities .
Preferred Qualifications :
- Previous sales experience with a proven track record of success meeting assigned sales quota.
- Salesforce experience preferred.
