Description:
This full-time, 10 month, paraprofessional position supports students in the mathematics resource center. In addition, the ILC Paraprofessional interacts with classroom teachers to communicate on the progress of individual students.

Qualifications:
ISBE Professional Educator License with 9-12 grade mathematics endorsement preferred. Experience with a broad array of course work ranging from academic support to AP Calculus/Statistics is a plus. Ideal candidates will have experience with Response to Intervention (RtI) models of support including supporting students' work habits and social-emotional learning competencies. Knowledge and experience with pedagogical techniques that support all learners with learning gaps is needed. Agility and adaptability in use of computer programs to record and communicate students' progress is needed. Strong candidates should possess effective interpersonal skills to work in partnership with families, other interventionists, and classroom teachers in support of students' learning.
