Job Description

We currently have a great opportunity for a Bilingual Customer Service Representative!

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for acting as the liaison between our clients and their customers, the consumer. They will be the first point of contact with the consumer, providing exceptional customer service assisting the consumer on how to cancel agreements, transfer agreements, how to file a claim, provide copy of agreement, answering general questions regarding coverage, length of contract and basic benefit questions, while providing them with appropriate resources needed to reach the desired resolution.
  • Receives high volume of consumer calls and answer questions regarding basic coverage benefits, cancelation process, and transferability of agreement, address / name change and how to file a claim.
  • Gather appropriate information and details to understand the customer's request or concern; resolves issues or advises on appropriate course of action.
  • Change consumer address record received through cases tracked in company systems.
  • Cancel consumer agreements received through the systems
  • Complete transfer requests received by consumers via mail, along with ensuring transfer payments are deposited.
  • Email or mail copy of consumer agreement, as requested.
  • Complete dealer balance credit refunds.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (Client Relationship Analyst or management) to find solutions and resolve consumer complaints. Escalate calls to management which are not solvable by the Customer Service Representative.
  • Maintain records of interactions with the consumer in an orderly and documented fashion on agreement master screen.
  • Ensures customer satisfaction by remaining focused on the call and displaying enthusiasm, sincerity and professionalism when responding to the customer's requests and questions.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a customer service related role
  • Previous experience with computer systems and data entry.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent active listening skills and patience with communicating with the consumer
  • Should be able to maintain their composure even if the consumer is rude
  • Ability to solve problems to acceptable resolution
  • Excellent research skills
  • Ability to type 30+ wpm
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word
  • Salesforce knowledge preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish speaking)
  • Previous experience in call center preferred.
  • Experience in the insurance, banking, warranty or financial services industry a plus

Schedule

Ability to work any shift from 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Compensation

$14-$18/hourly
