Ramp Agent Cargo - Part Time - Total Airport Services
The role of the Ramp Agent - Cargo is to provide all necessary and required under-wing ground support services as contracted by the customer to include but not be limited to loading and unloading baggage and cargo, marshalling, water and lavatory servicing.

TAS operates at seven airports throughout the United States, providing ramp tower control services, ground handling, cargo and mail handling, passenger services, into-plane fuel services, fuel and fuel management, and airport support services.

Job Description

Loads and unloads, freight, mail bags and other cargo to/from aircraft.

Transports freight, mail bags and other cargo to/from aircraft.

Sets up in preparation for aircraft arrival.

Prepares ground support equipment (GSE) for operation.

Prepares ramp for next arriving aircraft.

Practices safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.

Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

High School diploma or GED; OR up to and three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES and REGISTRATIONS

***Valid State of Illinois Driver's License***

Other requirements

Security Clearance, (for airport security purposes) pass a 10-year background screening and drug screen.

Monday - Friday: 8:00pm to 2:00am
