Empire Cooler Service, Chicago?s largest distributor of ice making and refrigeration equipment, is seeking a responsible Dispatcher. This position, with direction from the Dispatch Manager, is responsible for coordinating service calls and ice deliveries in a timely fashion to customers throughout the Chicagoland area.

Job duties include:

Dispatch and supervise service technicians and ice drivers. Provide exceptional customer service and accurate service delivery timelines. Process and prepare service and ice orders for billing. Manage employee logs while cross referencing vehicle tracking software. Prepare and provide repair quotes and proposals.

The ideal candidate should have:

Strong working knowledge of the Chicagoland area & Northwest Indiana. Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel and possess strong computer skills. Ability to multi-task under pressure in a fast paced environment. Excellent organization and strong customer-service communication skills. 3 years' experience in a supervisory/managerial role. HVAC experience or service related experience is a plus.

The candidate must be able to pass a drug screening and background check. We provide paid training. This is a full-time position with guaranteed overtime. Competitive salary based on experience. Benefits offered after a 90 day introductory period. We are close to public transportation.
