U.S. Smokeless Tobacco Company's role is to responsibly manufacture and market USSTC brands to adult tobacco consumers in a financially disciplined way, and to provide manufacturing services to PM USA and NuMark for their smokeless products. We are currently seeking highly qualified Maintenance Mechanic to join our manufacturing facility located in Franklin Park, IL.
The successful candidates will be expected to maintain and repair production and packaging machinery and will actively pursue process improvements in a team-based environment.

Specific Skills

Qualified applicants will:

* Be at least 18 years of age,

* Be eligible to work in the U.S. and for Altria family of companies

* Be able to work rotating shifts

* Possess journeyman mechanical credentials (or equivalent mechanical work experience).

* Have strong safety orientation

* Have excellent problem solving abilities

* Have strong communication skills

* Have a high degree of initiative and conscientiousness

* Have the ability to help our team drive innovation

* Have the ability to interpret and work from blueprints and drawings

* Have the ability to use measuring tools, hand tools and machine shop equipment.
